Hadith #47517
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا كِنَانَةُ مَوْلَى صَفِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: أَبْخَلُ النَّاسِ مَنْ بَخِلَ بِالسَّلاَمِ، وَالْمَغْبُونُ مَنْ لَمْ يَرُدَّهُ، وَإِنْ حَالَتْ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ أَخِيكَ شَجَرَةٌ، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَبْدَأَهُ بِالسَّلامِ لا يَبْدَأُكَ فَافْعَلْ.
Ahmad ibn Yunus narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr narrated to us, he said: Kinana, the client of Safiyya narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The most stingy of people are those who He is stingy with his greeting, and the foolish is he who does not return it.
