حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مُهَاجِرٍ هُوَ الصَّائِغُ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَجْلِسُ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ضَخْمٍ مِنَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّينَ، فَكَانَ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ: كَيْفَ أَصْبَحْتَ؟ قَالَ: لا نُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ.
Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah told us, he said: A partner told us, on the authority of an immigrant, a goldsmith, who said: I was sitting with a man from the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. A large man from the Hadramis, and when he was asked: How have you become? He would say: We do not associate anything with God.
