Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47637
Hadith #47637
Musa told us, he said: Rabi’ bin Abdullah bin Al-Jaroud Al-Hudhali told us, he said: Saif bin Wahb told us, he said: Abu told me Al-Tufayl: How long has it been with you? I said: I am thirty-three years old. He said: Shall I not narrate to you a hadith that I heard from Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman: A man from the warriors of Khasfa, called: Amr bin Sulay’, and he had companions, and he was of my age at that time, and I was of your age. Today, we came to Hudhayfah in a mosque, and I sat at the back of the people. Then Amr set off until he stood in front of him. He said: How have you become? Or how? Have you had a good evening, O Abdullah? He said: Praise be to God. He said: What are these hadiths that come to us from you? He said: And what has reached you about me, O Amr? He said: Hadiths that I did not hear. He said: By God, if I were to tell you everything I heard, you would not have waited for me at the end of this night, but O Amr bin Sulay’, if you see Qais traveling in the Levant, beware, be careful, for by God, do not let Qais, a believing servant of God, go unless you frighten him or She killed him, and by God, a time will come upon them in which they will not be prevented from committing the sin of Talah. He said: What will put you over your people, may God have mercy on you? He said: That's it, then he sat down.
