حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: شَهِدَ عِنْدِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَافِعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَارِثِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ فِي حَائِطٍ عَلَى قُفِّ الْبِئْرِ، مُدَلِّيًا رِجْلَيْهِ فِي الْبِئْرِ.
Ismail told us, saying: Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Zanad told me, on the authority of his father, who said: Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman testified with me, Abd al-Rahman ibn Nafi` ibn Abd al-Harith al-Khuza`i informed him that Abu Musa al-Ash`ari informed him that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was On a wall at the end of the well, dangling his legs into the well.
