Hadith #49923
On the authority of Al-Numan bin Bashir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The permissible is clear and the forbidden is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that he does not know about.” Many people, so whoever avoids the doubts will be clear of his religion and honor, and whoever falls into doubtful things, falls into forbidden things, like a shepherd who grazes for a year. A fever is about to break out in him. Indeed, every angel has a fever. Verily, God protects His sacred things. Verily, in the body there is a lump of flesh that, if it is sound, the whole body will be sound. And if it becomes corrupt, the entire body becomes corrupt, and that is the heart.”
