Hadith #50157
It was narrated in “Explanation of the Sunnah”: that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, allotted to Abdullah bin Masoud the role of Medina while it was between two buildings. The Ansar of houses and palm trees, and Banu Abd bin Zahra said: We write on our authority from Ibn Umm Abd. The Messenger of God said to them: “Why Did God send me then? God does not sanctify a nation without the weak among them being given his due.”
