Hadith #28231
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، قال حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" الْحُمَّى فَوْرٌ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَامْرَأَةِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَعَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ .
Hanad narrated to us, he said, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Masruq, on the authority of Abaya bin Rifa’ah, on the authority of his grandfather, Rafi’ bin Khadij, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Fever comes from fire, so cool it with water.” Abu Issa said, and in the chapter about Asma bint Abu Bakr and Ibn Omar, Al-Zubayr’s wife, Aisha, and Ibn Abbas.
