أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلاَءَ قَالَ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبْثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Ahmad bin Abdah al-Dhabi al-Basri told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Abd al-Aziz bin Suhayb, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, that Whenever the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, entered the toilet, he would say, “O God, I seek refuge in You from evil and evil things.” Abu Issa said this is a hadith. Good and true...
