Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26222

Muhammad ibn Bashar and Mahmoud ibn Ghaylan narrated to us, they said, Abu Dawud narrated to us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Asim, he said, I heard Abu Hajib, narrating On the authority of Al-Hakam bin Amr Al-Ghifari, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade a man to perform ablution due to a woman’s purification. Or he said “ “With its cape.” Abu Issa said this is a good hadith. Abu Hajib’s name is Sawada bin Asim. Muhammad bin Bashar said in In his hadith, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade a man to perform ablution with the help of a woman’s purification. Muhammad bin Bashar did not doubt it.
