Hadith #26285
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، نَحْوَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ قَدْ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الْيَقْظَانِ . قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَقُلْتُ عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَدُّ عَدِيٍّ مَا اسْمُهُ فَلَمْ يَعْرِفْ مُحَمَّدٌ اسْمَهُ وَذَكَرْتُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ قَوْلَ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَعِينٍ أَنَّ اسْمَهُ دِينَارٌ فَلَمْ يَعْبَأْ بِهِ . وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ فِي الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ إِنِ اغْتَسَلَتْ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ هُوَ أَحْوَطُ لَهَا وَإِنْ تَوَضَّأَتْ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ أَجْزَأَهَا وَإِنْ جَمَعَتْ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ بِغُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ أَجْزَأَهَا .
Ali bin Hajar told us, Sharik told us, something similar in meaning. Abu Issa said: This is a hadith that Sharik narrated alone on the authority of Abu al-Yaqzan. He said: I asked Muhammad about this hadith, and I said: Adi bin Thabit, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, Adi’s grandfather. What is his name? Muhammad did not know his name. I mentioned to Muhammad what Yahya bin Ma’in said that its name was Dinar, but he did not pay attention to it. It is more prudent for every prayer, and if she performs ablution for every prayer, that is sufficient, and if she combines the two prayers with one ablution, that is sufficient.
