Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26365

Hanad narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas and Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The imam is guaranteed and the muezzin is trustworthy. Abu Issa said: The hadith of Abu Hurairah was narrated by Sufyan Al-Thawri, Hafs bin Ghayath and others.
