حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَؤُمُّنَا فَيَأْخُذُ شِمَالَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ وَغُطَيْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ هُلْبٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالتَّابِعِينَ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ يَرَوْنَ أَنْ يَضَعَ الرَّجُلُ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ . وَرَأَى بَعْضُهُمْ أَنْ يَضَعَهُمَا فَوْقَ السُّرَّةِ . وَرَأَى بَعْضُهُمْ أَنْ يَضَعَهُمَا تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ . وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ وَاسِعٌ عِنْدَهُمْ . وَاسْمُ هُلْبٍ يَزِيدُ بْنُ قُنَافَةَ الطَّائِيُّ .
Qutaibah narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us, on the authority of Samak bin Harb, on the authority of Qubaisa bin Hilab, on the authority of his father, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was He leads us and takes his left hand with his right. He said: On the authority of Wa’il bin Hajr, Ghaytif bin Al-Harith, Ibn Abbas, and Ibn Masoud. And easy Ibn Saad. Abu Issa said, “Hullab’s hadith is a good hadith. And this is acted upon according to the people of knowledge among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and those who followed.” And those after them believed that a man should place his right hand on his left during prayer. Some of them believed that he should place them above the navel. Some of them were of the opinion that he should put them under the navel. And all of that is sufficient according to them. And the name of Hilab is Yazid ibn Qanafa al-Tai.
