Hadith #26727
Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman told us, Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth bin Saad told us, on the authority of Khalid bin Yazid, on the authority of Saeed. Ibn Abi Hilal, on the authority of Omar, who is Ibn Hayyan al-Dimashqi, said: I heard an informant, telling on the authority of Umm al-Darda’, on the authority of Abu al-Darda’, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, similar to his wording. Abu Issa said, “This is more correct than the hadith of Sufyan bin Waki’ on the authority of Abdullah bin Wahb.” He said. On the authority of Ali, Ibn Abbas, Abu Hurairah, Ibn Masoud, Zayd bin Thabit, and Amr bin Al-Aas. Abu Issa said the hadith of my father Al-Darda’ is a strange hadith that we only know from the hadith of Sa’id bin Abi Hilal on the authority of Omar Al-Dimashqi.
