حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِآيَةٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ لَيْلَةً . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
Abu Bakr told us, Muhammad bin Nafi’ al-Basri told us, Abd al-Samad bin Abd al-Warith told us, on the authority of Ismail bin Muslim al-Abdi, on the authority of Abu Al-Mutawakkil Al-Naji, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, recited a verse from the Qur’an one night. Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith. Strange in this way...
