Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26803

Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Yazid bin Harun told us, Yazid bin Iyad told us, on the authority of Asim bin Omar bin Qatada, H. Muhammad told us Bin Ismail, he said: Ahmad bin Khalid told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, on the authority of Asim bin Omar bin Qatada, on the authority of Mahmoud bin Labid, on the authority of Rafi’ bin Khadij said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, say: “The one who works to give charity in the right way is like one who fights in the cause of God until he returns to his home.” Abu Issa said: The hadith of Rafi’ ibn Khadij is a hasan and authentic hadith. Yazid ibn Iyaad is weak according to the people of hadith. The hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq is more authentic.
