حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ جَحْلٍ، عَنْ حُجْرٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِعُمَرَ
" إِنَّا قَدْ أَخَذْنَا زَكَاةَ الْعَبَّاسِ عَامَ الأَوَّلِ لِلْعَامِ " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى لاَ أَعْرِفُ حَدِيثَ تَعْجِيلِ الزَّكَاةِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَحَدِيثُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عِنْدِي أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُرْسَلاً . وَقَدِ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي تَعْجِيلِ الزَّكَاةِ قَبْلَ مَحِلِّهَا فَرَأَى طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ لاَ يُعَجِّلَهَا . وَبِهِ يَقُولُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ قَالَ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ أَنْ لاَ يُعَجِّلَهَا . وَقَالَ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِنْ عَجَّلَهَا قَبْلَ مَحِلِّهَا أَجْزَأَتْ عَنْهُ . وَبِهِ يَقُولُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ .
Al-Qasim bin Dinar Al-Kufi told us, Ishaq bin Mansour told us, on the authority of Israel, on the authority of Al-Hajjaj bin Dinar, on the authority of Al-Hakam bin Jahl, on the authority of Hijr al-Adawi, on the authority of Ali, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to Omar, “Indeed, we took the zakat from al-Abbas in the first year of the year.” He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Ibn Abbas. Abu Issa said, “I do not know of the hadith about hastening zakat from the hadith of Israel on the authority of Al-Hajjaj ibn Dinar except From this standpoint, the hadith of Ismail bin Zakariya on the authority of Al-Hajjaj is, in my view, more authentic than the hadith of Israel on the authority of Al-Hajjaj bin Dinar. This hadith was narrated on the authority of Al-Hakam bin Utaiba, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, on the authority of a mursal report. The people of knowledge differed regarding hastening zakat before it is due. A group of people of knowledge thought that he should not hasten it. This is what Sufyan Al-Thawri says. He said, “I prefer that he not hasten it.” Most of the people of knowledge said that if he hurries it before it is due, it is sufficient for him. This is what Al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq say.
