Hadith #28474
Suleiman bin Abdul-Jabbar Al-Baghdadi narrated to us, Omar bin Hafs bin Ghayath narrated to us, my father narrated to us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, He said, one of his companions died, so he said, meaning, a man who was given good tidings of Paradise. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Do you not know? Perhaps it is He spoke about what did not concern him or was stingy with what he did not lack.” He said: This is a strange hadith.
