Hadith #26988
Abdullah bin Abi Ziyad told us, Abdullah bin Yaqoub Al-Madani told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Zinad, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Kharijah bin Zayd Ibn Thabit, on the authority of his father, that he saw the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stripped for the crescent moon and took a bath. Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith. A group of scholars have deemed it desirable to wash when entering ihram, and Al-Shafi’i says this.
