حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ وَجَابِرٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ رَخَّصَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي الْحِجَامَةِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ وَقَالُوا لاَ يَحْلِقُ شَعَرًا . وَقَالَ مَالِكٌ لاَ يَحْتَجِمُ الْمُحْرِمُ إِلاَّ مِنْ ضَرُورَةٍ . وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَالشَّافِعِيُّ لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يَحْتَجِمَ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلاَ يَنْزِعُ شَعَرًا .
Qutaibah narrated to us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated to us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, on the authority of Tawus, and Ata’, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was cupped. It is Muharram. He said: On the authority of Anas, Abdullah Ibn Buhayna, and Jabir. Abu Issa said: The hadith of Ibn Abbas is a hadith. Hassan Sahih. Some of the people of knowledge permitted cupping for a person in ihram and said, “He should not shave his hair.” And Malik said, “He should not use cupping.” In ihram, unless necessary. Sufyan al-Thawri and al-Shafi’i said: There is no harm for a person in ihram to use cupping and not remove his hair.
