Hanad narrated to us, Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Abis bin Rabi’ah, he said, I saw Omar bin Al-Khattab kissing the stone. And he says, “I kiss you and I know that you are a stone, and had I not seen the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, kissing you, I would not have kissed you.” He said On the authority of Abu Bakr and Ibn Omar, Abu Issa said: The hadith of Omar is a good and authentic hadith.
