Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27094

Abu Kurayb told us, Yahya bin Adam told us, on the authority of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Habib bin Abi Thabit, on the authority of Urwa, He said: Ibn Umar was asked in which month the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed Umrah. He said in Rajab. He said, Aisha said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not perform Umrah. And peace be upon him, except that he was with him, meaning Ibn Umar, and he never performed Umrah in the month of Rajab. Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith. I heard Muhammad say: Habib Ibn Abi Thabit did not hear from Urwah Ibn Al-Zubayr.
