حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ ‏.‏
Qutayba bin Saeed, Ahmad bin Mani’, Ishaq bin Mansour, and Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, they said: Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, On the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Salem, on the authority of his father, he said, I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr and Omar walking in front of the funeral.
