Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27123

Hanad narrated to us, Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Al-Aswad, on the authority of Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “No.” If a believer is afflicted by a thorn or anything above it, God raises him one degree because of it and removes from him a sin because of it. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Sa`d Bin Abi Waqqas, Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, Abu Hurairah, Abu Umamah, Abu Saeed, Anas, Abdullah bin Amr, and Asad bin Kurz, Jabir bin Abdullah, Abd al-Rahman bin Azhar, and Abu Musa. Abu Issa said the hadith of Aisha is a good and authentic hadith.
