حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الضُّبَعِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ اجْعَلُوا الطَّرِيقَ سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Muthanna bin Saeed Al-Dhabi’i, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Bashir bin Nahik, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace “Make the road seven cubits long.”
