Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27553

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Muhammad bin Ja’far narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Ya’la bin Ata’, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, similar to it but he did not narrate it. Abu Issa said, and this is more authentic than the hadith of Ibn Abi Adi. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Saad and Ibn, Abbas and my father Saeed, Abu Hurairah, Uqba bin Amir, Ibn Masoud, and Buraydah. Abu Issa said the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr, this is how he narrated it. Ibn Abi Adi, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Ali bin Ata’, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And Muhammad bin Jafar, And more than one, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Ya’la bin Ata, but he did not narrate it. And thus Sufyan al-Thawri narrated, on the authority of Ya’la bin Ata, with a chain of transmission. This is more correct than the raised hadith.
