Hadith #27934
Abu Ja`far al-Samnani narrated to us, Sulayman bin Ubayd Allah al-Ruqi narrated to us, Ubaid Allah bin Amr al-Ruqi narrated to us, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade a man to wear shoes while standing. Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith. Muhammad bin Ismail said: This hadith is not authentic, nor is the hadith of Muammar on the authority of Ammar bin Abi Ammar on the authority of Abu Hurairah.
