Hadith #27968
Al-Hasan bin Al-Sabah Al-Bazzar narrated to us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated to us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abi Yazid, on the authority of his father, that Umm Ayyub, I told him that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, descended upon them and they prepared food for him, which contained some of these legumes. He decided not to eat it, so he said: To his companions: “Eat it, for I am not like one of you. I fear that I will harm my companion.” Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith. Umm Ayyub is the wife of Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari.
