Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28123

Ahmad bin Muhammad told us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Adi bin Thabit, on the authority of Abdullah bin Yazid, on the authority of Abu Masoud Al-Ansari, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “A man’s support for his family is charity.” And on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, Amr bin Umayyah Al-Damri, and Abu Hurairah. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
