Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28125

Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth bin Saad narrated to us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Sa’id Al-Maqbari, on the authority of Abu Shurayh Al-Adawi, that he said, “I have seen The eyes of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and my ears heard it when he spoke it. He said, “Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him be honored.” “His guest is his reward.” They said, “And what is his reward?” He said, “A day and a night, and the hospitality is three days, and whatever happens after that is It is charity. And whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him say good or remain silent.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
