حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ الْكُوفِيُّ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ يُوضَعُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ أَثْقَلُ مِنْ حُسْنِ الْخُلُقِ وَإِنَّ صَاحِبَ حُسْنِ الْخُلُقِ لَيَبْلُغُ بِهِ دَرَجَةَ صَاحِبِ الصَّوْمِ وَالصَّلاَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Qubaisa bin Al-Layth Al-Kufi narrated to us, on the authority of Mutarrif, on the authority of Ata’, on the authority of Umm Al-Darda’, on the authority of Abu Al-Darda’, he said: I heard the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “There is nothing that is placed in the scale heavier than good character, and the one who has good character will attain it.” The rank of the person who fasts and prays.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith from this perspective.
