Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28353

Qutaibah told us, Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad told us, on the authority of Al-Ala’ bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Hasten to do deeds that cause temptations like parts of a dark night. A man becomes a believer in the morning, a disbeliever in the evening, and a believer in the evening.” And he becomes an infidel. Someone sells his religion for an offer of this world.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
