حَدَّثَنَا الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِالشَّهَادَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
Al-Ansari told us, Maan told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Othman, on the authority of Abu Amra Al-Ansari, on the authority of Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said “ Shall I not inform you of the best of martyrs who brings testimony before he is asked for it?
