حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ لَوْ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا تَعْدِلُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ جَنَاحَ بَعُوضَةٍ مَا سَقَى كَافِرًا مِنْهَا شَرْبَةَ مَاءٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏
Qutaibah narrated to us, Abd al-Hamid bin Sulaiman narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Hazim, on the authority of Sahl bin Saad, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “If In the eyes of God, the world is equivalent to the wing of a mosquito. He never gave an unbeliever a drink of water from it.” And on the authority of Abu Hurairah, Abu Hurairah said: Jesus, this is an authentic and strange hadith from this perspective.
