Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28502

Ali bin Saeed Al-Kindi told us, Ibn Al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Haywa bin Shurayh, on the authority of Bakr bin Amr, on the authority of Abdullah bin Hubayra, on the authority of Abu Tamim al-Jishani, on the authority of Omar ibn al-Khattab, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “If only you had put your trust in “Allah is the truth in His trust. You have been provided with sustenance just as you provide for birds, when they become exhausted and go away exhausted.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith. No.” We know him only from this perspective. Abu Tamim al-Jishani’s name is Abdullah bin Malik.
