حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ يَا بُنَىَّ لَوْ رَأَيْتَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَصَابَتْنَا السَّمَاءُ لَحَسِبْتَ أَنَّ رِيحَنَا رِيحُ الضَّأْنِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَمَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ ثِيَابَهُمُ الصُّوفُ فَكَانَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْمَطَرُ يَجِيءُ مِنْ ثِيَابِهِمْ رِيحُ الضَّأْنِ .
Qutaibah narrated to us, Abu Awanah narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Abu Burdah ibn Abi Musa, on the authority of his father, he said, “O my son, if you saw us While we were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the sky struck us, you would have thought that our scent was the scent of sheep. Abu Issa said: This is an authentic hadith. This The hadith is that their clothes were wool, so when it rained, the scent of sheep would come from their clothes.
