Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29562

Hisham bin Yunus Al-Kufi told us, Al-Muharbi told us, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would not sleep until It is recited after the prostration and with the blessing. Abu Issa said: This is how Sufyan and more than one person narrated this hadith on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and similar to it. Zuhayr narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr. He said, “I told him, ‘I heard it from Jabir said: I did not hear it from Jabir, but rather I heard it from Safwan or Ibn Safwan. Shababah narrated on the authority of Mughirah ibn Muslim on the authority of Abu Al-Zubair, on the authority of Jabir, similar to the hadith of Laith.
