Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28667

Hanad narrated to us, Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Amr ibn Murrah, on the authority of Salim ibn Abi Al-Ja’d, on the authority of Umm Al-Darda’, on the authority of Abu Al-Darda’, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Shall I not inform you of something better than the degree of fasting, prayer, and charity?” They said. Yes. He said, “Reconciliation between the two is the cause of corruption.” Abu Issa said: This is an authentic hadith. It is narrated. On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said, “She is the one who shave. I do not say she shaves the hair, but she shaves the religion.”
