حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ يُوشِكُ الْفُرَاتُ يَحْسِرُ عَنْ كَنْزٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَمَنْ حَضَرَهُ فَلاَ يَأْخُذْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Abu Saeed Al-Ashjaj told us, Uqba bin Khalid told us, Ubayd Allah bin Omar told us, on the authority of Khubayb bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of his grandfather, Hafs Ibn Asim, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The Euphrates is about to come. He will regret a treasure of gold, so whoever is present there will not “He takes something from it.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
