Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28755

Hanad narrated to us, Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Abu Sufyan, on the authority of Jabir, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “People are tortured by The people of monotheism will be in Hell until they become like lava therein, then mercy will overtake them, and they will be brought out and cast at the gates of Paradise. He said, “Then the people of Paradise will sprinkle water on them, and they will sprout as scum sprouts in the basin of a torrent, then they will enter Paradise.” He said this.
