Jami at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28772

Abu Kurayb told us, Waki` told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Suhail bin Abi Salih, on the authority of Abdullah bin Dinar, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Kitten, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Faith has seventy-four chapters, the least of which is removing harm from the road, and the highest of them is saying no.” There is no god but Allah.” Abu Issa said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith, and this is how Suhail bin Abi Saleh narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Dinar, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah. Amara bin Ghaziyah narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said “ “Faith has sixty-four chapters.” He said: Qutaibah told us about that. Bakr ibn Mudar told us, on the authority of Amara ibn Ghaziyah, on the authority of Abu Salih. On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
