حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ انْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ بِقَبْضِ الْعُلَمَاءِ حَتَّى إِذَا لَمْ يَتْرُكْ عَالِمًا اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُءُوسًا جُهَّالاً فَسُئِلُوا فَأَفْتَوْا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَزِيَادِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏ وَقَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِثْلَ هَذَا ‏.‏
Harun bin Ishaq Al-Hamdani told us, Abdah bin Sulayman told us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr ibn Al-Aas said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed, God does not seize knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He seizes knowledge By arresting the scholars until, when no scholar was left behind, the people took ignorant people as their leaders, and they were questioned, and they issued fatwas without knowledge, and they went astray and were led astray. The chapter on the authority of Aisha and Ziyad bin Labid. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. Al-Zuhri narrated this hadith on the authority of Arwah about Abdullah bin Amr, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, something like this.
