حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، شَيْخٌ لَهُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَهُ ‏ "‏ يَا بُنَىَّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ وَعُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ‏.‏ وَأَبُو عُثْمَانَ هَذَا شَيْخٌ ثِقَةٌ وَهُوَ الْجَعْدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ وَيُقَالُ ابْنُ دِينَارٍ وَهُوَ بَصْرِيٌّ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الأَئِمَّةِ ‏.‏
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Abi al-Shawareb narrated to us, Abu Awanah narrated to us, Abu Uthman, a sheikh of his, narrated to us on the authority of Anas, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, narrated to us He greeted him and said to him, “O my son.” And on the authority of Al-Mughirah and Omar bin Abi Salamah. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. It is strange in this way. It was narrated in a different way on the authority of Anas. This Abu Uthman is a trustworthy sheikh, and he is Al-Ja’ad ibn Uthman, also called Ibn Dinar, is Basri, and Yunus bin Ubaid and more than one of the imams narrated from him.
