Hadith #29589
Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Bazi’ told us, Abd al-Warith bin Sa’id told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, the client of the Al-Zubayr family, on the authority of Salim bin Abdullah bin Omar, on the authority of Ibn Omar, on the authority of Omar, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever sees a person in affliction and says, Praise be to God “Who has pardoned me from what He afflicted you with, and has favored me over many of His creation, that I may be spared from that affliction, whoever he may be as long as he lives.” He said. Abu Issa, this is a strange hadith. On the authority of Abu Hurairah, Amr bin Dinar, Qahraman of the family of Al-Zubayr, is a sheikh of Basra and not He is strong in hadith. He was unique in narrating hadiths on the authority of Salim bin Abdullah bin Omar. It was narrated on the authority of Abu Ja`far Muhammad bin Ali. He said: If he sees someone who is afflicted and seeks refuge from him, he says that to himself and does not listen to the person who is afflicted.
