Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29036

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, he said, Husayn al-Ju’fi narrated to us, on the authority of Zaida, on the authority of Hakim bin Jubayr, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Everything has a hump, and the hump of the Qur’an is Surah Al-Baqarah, and in it is a verse that is the master of the verse of the Qur’an. It is “Ayat Al-Kursi.” Abu Issa said, “This is a strange hadith. We do not know it except from the hadith of Hakim ibn Jubayr. Shu’bah spoke in Hakim bin Jubayr, and he classified it as weak.
