Muhammad bin Aban narrated to us, Ibn Abi Adi narrated to us, on the authority of Dawud bin Abi Hind, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Masruq, on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said If the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, had concealed any of the revelation, he would have concealed this verse: (When it says to the one upon whom God has bestowed favours: And You bestowed upon him) the verse. He said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
