حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ فِي زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ : (فلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا ) قَالَ فَكَانَتْ تَفْتَخِرُ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَقُولُ زَوَّجَكُنَّ أَهْلُكُنَّ وَزَوَّجَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْ فَوْقِ سَبْعِ سَمَوَاتٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Abd bin Humaid told us, Muhammad bin Al-Fadl told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas, he said: This verse was revealed in Zainab bint Jahsh: (And when Zaid had finished with her, We made her in marriage to you.) He said, and she used to boast about the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying Your family gave you in marriage, and God gave you in marriage to me from above the seven heavens. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
