Hadith #29370
Ahmad bin Abdah al-Dhabi told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas, who said this verse was revealed: (And it is hidden in Your soul is not revealed by God and you fear people.) Concerning Zainab bint Jahsh, Zaid came complaining about her divorce, so he consulted the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Keep your husband safe and fear God.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
