Hadith #29499
Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: He said: “I have been commanded to fight people until they say there is no god but God. If they say it, their blood and their property will be protected from me.” Except as it is due, and their reckoning is with God. Then he recited: (You are only a reminder. You are not in control over them.) Abu Issa said this. A good and authentic hadith
