Hadith #29500
Abu Hafs told us, Amr bin Ali told us, Abdul Rahman bin Mahdi told us, and Abu Dawud said, Hammam told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Imran Ibn Issam, on the authority of a man, from the people of Basra, on the authority of Imran Ibn Husayn, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about Shaf’ and Witr, and he said, “It is Some of the prayer is Shafa’ and some of it is Witr.” He said, “This is a strange hadith. We do not know it except from the hadith of Qatada. It was narrated by Khalid bin Qais Al-Hadani, also on the authority of Qatada.
