Hadith #29506
Abd bin Humaid told us, Abd al-Razzaq told us, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Abd al-Karim al-Jazari, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both. : (We will leave the zabaniyah) Abu Jahl said: If I saw Muhammad praying, I would trample on his neck. Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said “If he had done so, the angels would have caught him with their eyes.” Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith.
